After deciding on a horror/thriller film idea that we are going to produce for our teaser trailer, I decided to look at other similar teaser trailer films that use the same effects I feel are needed in my teaser trailer and also too get ideas and conventions from the trailer that I could use.
One trailer I found that I felt created the suspense and also used some of the conventions I wanted was the 'panic room' teaser trailer:
The quite beginning and steady increase in suspense is what I was looking to do in the trailer, also the music is not too heavy but it is still effective in creating an atmosphere of wonder around the trailer
